PORTAFOLIO GAB SHIBA
Gab Shiba is a popular Mexican furry webcomic created by the artist duo Cross and Zurdo. The comic revolves around the daily life and adventures of a Shiba Inu named Gab and his group of furry friends. The comic is known for its colorful and detailed artwork, engaging storylines, and relatable characters. Gab Shiba has gained a significant following among the furry community and has been praised for its humor, heartwarming moments, and positive representation of the furry lifestyle.
We both originated in México, CROSS as a writer since 2016 and ZURDO as the illustrator, we both living in Mexico City, wanted to put all the gay, alternative and overall funny experiences that we have with friends or ourselves in a webcomic that illustrated the real side of this huge and ritch in culture city, mixed with our fanatism of japanese/anime/manga cultura and of course being the furry the perfect format.
Our Story // Who are we?
Zurdo, former illustrator and graphic designer, started drawing since he was a child drawing cartoons; for Cross it was a little bit different, more focused in management and creative narratives, We both met at CDMX and using discovered the furry fandom in those old days, much more smaller than it is now. We decided to create a webcomic featuring a shiba inu as the main character, drawing inspiration from the popularity of the breed and the cute and playful nature of the animal.
The comic quickly gained a following on social media platforms such as Twitter and Tumblr, and has since grown to become one of the most popular furry webcomics online. Gab Shiba has continued to evolve over the years, with new characters, storylines, and artwork, but it has remained true to its roots as a fun and entertaining webcomic for furries and fans of anthropomorphic animals.
Our Characters
BAU
A super wild and rowdy husky, where he puts the eye puts his d#ck, he loves his friends a lot even if he doesn’t show it a lot. He’s also the bassist of the band “WhiteFang”.
GAB
Our Protagonist, a cute Shiba inu, who has a little of not so good luck at love, gay situations and his other gay roomies, but he always tries to look the bright side of things.
VOFF, RUFF, WANG & CORG
The sexiest gay couple who is also married and the couple of gay nerds who are not married (yet).
